into witchcraft within some African communities which exposed the horrific

incisive, well-researched, compelling and courteous. His distinctive on-air
style demonstrates a careful use of irony. His political interviews in
particular show tenacity and determination without becoming rude or aggressive."
BRONZE "Christian Fraser is a lively, fluent and
gifted young reporter who is becoming a rising star. He is particularly
good at putting over the atmosphere of events he reports. He also demonstrates
a human warmth allowing him to tell stories in a serious way, while at
the same time having a lightness of touch." NOMINEE "Peter Allen is an excellent story teller,
always creating vivid radio pictures on the air. Well known for his on-air
partnership with co-presenter Jane Garvey, the judges wanted, on this
occasion, to recognise his live reporting skills - excellent descriptions
