Producers: Peter Burdin
Assistant Producer: Philippa Goodrich
Director: Peter Burdin
Writer: Allan Little
Editor: Peter Burdin
Presenter: Allan Little
special thanks: Citizens of Sarajevo
Senior Commissioning Editor: Neil Curry

This was a beautifully crafted and finely written piece by Allan Little in which he revisited Sarajevo ten years after reporting from the city as a war correspondent. His knowledge and experience gave him real insight into the moving and revealing personal stories of those affected, sometimes critically, by the war. The programme had a subtle and sophisticated use of archive and music. It was clear, well told and gripping radio.

This showed independent local radio doing something interactive in response to what the stations listeners wanted to hear about. The team of young, enthusiastic journalists took on an ambitious project in an innovative and pacey format, which other, similar stations could adopt. They demonstrated good use of on the street reporting.

Frank Gardiner's report on the July bombings, 101 Days On was told with all the empathy and skill which we would expect from such a reporter. He and his interviewees gave a description of the experience of those caught up in the London bombings that was so vivid that, like the best radio can deliver, the pictures were quite intense.
