Matt is Executive Producer, Multimedia Development for The Guardian, where he helps lead the Guardian's award-winning podcast and video teams. An audio production expert and writer, his company Crush advised a wide range of companies in the fields of corporate marketing, entertainment and online production, including leading radio indie Bite Yer Legs, publishing group Development Hell, and Guardian Unlimited. Matt set up Crush in 2007 after seven years at Somethin’ Else, where, as Head Of BBC Radio Production, he was responsible for all of the company's BBC radio output.
Previous to this Matt spent 15 years at the BBC, working across Radio 1, 4, and 5, has worked at BBC GLR, as afternoon Editor, and helped devise, and run, the BBC's first online music portal.
He has made programmes for all the BBC National networks, and lives in Nottinghamshire with his wife, children, and way too many superhero comics and hip hop records for a 40-something white guy.
