DEADLINE for Local & Regional Lifetime Achievement Award nominations: Wednesday 27th February 2008.
This year, there are 32 categories to enter. Please click on the award titles listed to the left for specific category descriptions and submission requirements.
The categories have been divided into the following four groups:
Group A – Programme Awards
Group B – Personality Awards
Group C – Production Awards
Group D – Station Awards
New for 2008 is The Multiplatform Radio Award, designed to celebrate the many and varied ways in which multiplatform services are utilised to extend and enrich the listener experience.
Recognising the long term and significant contribution of a local/regional broadcaster or practitioner, The Local and Regional Lifetime Achievement Award returns this year as a free to enter category. Stations and individuals are invited to submit an audio CD of their own, or their chosen nominee’s career highlights. The inclusion this year of the words ‘Local and Regional’ within the category title is to emphasise the targeted nature of this award.
This year entrants are asked to complete their entry form and register it on-line before printing and collating it with their CD entry.
Your entry form(s) will be emailed to you once you have registered, along with a summary of your entries, a checklist to guide you through collating your entry, CD labels & envelope label templates and your payment summary.
Note: Categories and conditions are revised each year. Please be sure to read all entry information carefully and complete and register a 2008 entry form to accompany your entry.
